Nanoshark to Be Released This November
SRS Cinema President Ron Bonk announced last week that his latest film project, Nanoshark, directed by longtime indie filmmaker and SRS veteran Brett Kelly (Raiders of the Lost Shark, Ouija Shark), is expected to be released this Fall. The film, which riffs on classics like Jaws and Fantastic Voyage, follows a team of adventurers tasked with killing a microscopic great white after nano technology sets the shark loose in a human’s bloodstream.
With one of the greatest tag lines ever: You’re Going To Need A Smaller Boat, the latest SRS sharkstravaganza is expected to begin shooting this summer.
“I’ve produced many movies, and I have a reputation for getting these projects delivered and out into the market,” says Bonk. “Between the two of us, we will deliver beyond expectations.”
It would be quite the surprise if they don’t, given SRS Cinema’s track record of producing, releasing and distributing films over a 31+ year stretch. One of the most prolific and reliable independent production houses in film, there may not be a screening at the Argo Theatre, but you can certainly expect a savagely good time with its upcoming Blu-Ray release.
